Led by our Executive Chef, John Kolesar, our culinary team crafts inspired menus featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, expertly prepared and beautifully displayed. Chef John has spent more than 20-years leading award-winning fine dining and catering operations, including serving as executive chef for Watch Hill’s historic Ocean House Resort and the Rhode Island Center for the Performing Arts.

With decades of experience delivering large scale events for hundreds of guests, as well as intimate gatherings for just a few, our team of professional event planners and managers obsess over the details, so you don’t have to.

At Watch Hill Catering, we believe the food comes first. Chef John and his skilled team create inspired menus and unique dishes just for you – from classic to modern and everywhere in between. We provision the freshest seafood, prime meats and locally sourced produce to deliver American classics, including house smoked BBQ, Italian, French, Asian, Cajun and Latin.

Catering menu options can include beautifully appointed and strikingly creative display stations, hot and cold passed canapes, appetizers, fresh salads, entrees, seasonal vegetables, potato, rice and pasta dishes.

Our fully equipped commercial kitchen can accommodate a variety of special requests and dietary restrictions including gluten-free, lactose-free, no pork, kosher, nut-free, organic, vegan, and vegetarian.

Watch Hill Catering offers a full suite of event planning and event management services that extend well beyond the kitchen. Our event management professionals have decades of experience delivering events of all types and sizes. We are available to help you find the perfect venue, recommend local, reliable, trusted vendors and ensure that every detail meets your needs and expectations.

Our team of courteous, professional servers are dedicated to delivering the very best experience for you and your guests. From bar service and cocktail receptions, to plated dinners, buffets and station receptions, we serve with distinction.
Watch Hill Catering can provide barware, china, flatware, glassware up to 100 guests, and linens. With a liquor license, Watch Hill Catering offers bartenders and a cash, limited, or open bar options, featuring a champagne toast, house and specialty beer, house and specialty wine, and house and premium liquor.
